Flexopack

Flexopack’s history begins in the ‘60s with the Trimboli family and the commercialisation of flexible packaging in the Region of Liguria. Flexopack has experienced a constant growth covering a wide range of products: from wrapping paper to paper bags until the first polyethylene packaging that appeared on the market. At the end of the ‘70s, the Trimboli family was already a leading manufacturer in the flexible packaging sector in the Region Liguria and in 1981 they founded Flexopack. In 1985, thanks to a great business intuition, Flexopack chose to invest in plastic materials in order to expand the production. The manufacturing process, at that time, already included extrusion, print and welding as well as plastic material regeneration. It was immediately a success. Since 1981 to date, further changes and innovations have led Flexopack to become a leading manufacturer in many sectors of the packaging world. Nowadays, about 50 people work for Flexopack in the manufacturing plant of Villanova d’Albenga.
