Foods for Tomorrow creates very meaty plant-based products under the name of Heura. We have developed the cutting edge plant-based meat made from legumes getting textures never seen before in the vegetable kingdom.

The Heura products deliver the experience of meat with the benefits of vegetables and 100% of the people think they are eating meat when trying it (Focus groups 2018, 2019).

We are a Spanish startup that aims to address the problems of the current food system by offering sustainable, nutritious and delicious protein. And our main objective was to be able to maintain our traditions and gastronomy in a sustainable way.

Our first product to hit the market was Heura, a new generation of plant-based protein with such a surprising fibrous and fleshy texture that, when trying it, 100% of consumers (according to focus groups) and even butchers think it’s meat. It is gluten-free, low in saturated fat and high in fibre, iron and vitamin B12. It also has no cholesterol, as it is 100% made from plants.

We promote a more efficient and sustainable model that allows us to feed the entire population, even if we reach 9 billion people.
