SAP was founded in 2000 in Viseu (Portugal) by Jose Cardoso following more than 20 years trading cattle and fresh meat. The company is dedicated to produce Portuguese traditional charcuterie inspired in local recipes. Initially oriented to supply local restaurants and regional distributors, the company grown to be a supplier of national supermarkets insignias (both in own label and private labe) being present in several european countries.

SAP has today a range of charcuterie products that have grown outside regional boundaries. To comply with nowadays consumer trends, the company introduced  new ingredients, healthier recipes in more suitable fomats for retail and foodservice.
