Our story begins in 1997, in the mystical and legendary lands of Maramures, places where simple traditions and lifestyles have been preserved as nowhere in Europe. The people of Maramures are known for their hospitality, gentleness and hand crafts. In this fairytale land, the first chocolate was made, from the hands of chocolatier Liviu Fagi.                    The factory started as a small family business and developed within the same family to the size of today.  The first product was made in the form of a chocolate bar that was awarded the "Golden Mark" medal at the National Sweets Salon organized by the General Union of Industrialists in Romania (UGIR 1903).         Since then, the range of products has grown to produce chocolate tablets, chocolate creams, the finest pralines and up to specialties, as well as hot chocolate.          From our online store you can enjoy the specialties mentioned above, for those who want to develop their own brand in collaboration with us are invited on the page "Private Label", and those interested in the complete range of products can write us at sales@chocolate-factory.eu
