In 1962, Giovanni Rana started a pasta revolution in his hometown of Verona when he began to make ‘grandmother-quality’ tortellini which he delivered by hand on his beloved Moto Guzzi bike. Back then it was simply a way to show his appreciation of the mothers and grandmothers of Italy by giving them a well-deserved rest from the task of making pasta by hand
