Founded in 2013 by Rafael Ilishayev and Yakir Gola, Gopuff is an online retailer which delivers thousands of everyday essentials to various households. Its headquarters is based in Philadelphia, PA, USA. First started as an on-demand hookah delivery service, Gopuff is now a rapid grocery delivery app. 

Presently, the company has operations in more than 100 locations with 2.6 million active users. As of 2022, around 11.3 million people have downloaded the Gopuff app. 

In the financial year 2021, Gopuff achieved a turnover of  € 882.6 million and employed 10,000 people. 

Moreover, Gopuff won 3 awards in 2021 including “Best Ceos for Diversity 2021”, “Best Operations Team 2021” and “Best Engineering Team 2021”. 

Gopuff offers a wide assortment of products under the following categories: 

• Savoury grocery: pasta, vinegar, rice, etc.
• Sweet grocery: chocolates, cookies, coffee, etc. 
• Dairy: eggs, milk, cheese, etc. 
• Frozen: pizza, burgers, ice creams, etc. 
• Chilled & fresh: ready meals, meat, fish, etc.
• Drinks: water, juice, soft drinks, etc. 
• Wine & spirits: wines, beers, tequilas, etc.

In addition, the online retailer endorses multiple brands such as Dove, Ben & Jerry's, Hillshire, Arizona and many more. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the company operates more than 500 micro-fulfillment centres and has its own fleet of vehicles to conduct deliveries. It is noteworthy that the deliveries are done within 15-20 minutes. 

Furthermore, the enterprise partnered with Uber Eats in May 2021 to sell products on Uber’s platform and the deliveries are done by Gopuff drivers. 

With regards to the community, Gopuff partnered with Roc Nation to donate 200,000 meals to Feeding America & local food banks. 

As of 2022, the business is looking forward to expanding its product range by reaching 4,000 products by the end of the year. Moreover, Gopuff is set to launch its private label products and a potential IPO as well. In addition, the firm is trying to expand its presence across Europe to be able to compete with Getir and Gorillas.
