Founded in 2015 by Paula Alcalde and Anderson Caicedo, GreenBay is a 100% vegan supermarket. Its headquarters is based in London, United Kingdom. With over 1,000 brands, all in one place, the firm is able to connect people with a plant-based lifestyle. 

Currently, GreenBay operates its physical store in London as well as an online store which offers the next day delivery service. The company has served more than 50,000 customers and sold over 500,000 goods till date. 

In the financial year ending 2021, GreenBay achieved a turnover not exceeding € 2 million and employed around 10 people. 

Moreover, the business received the Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award for its amazing customer service in 2021. 

GreenBay offers a selection of 1,200 products in the following categories: 

• Chilled & fresh food: meat, seafood, ready meals, etc. 
• Frozen: sausages, waffles, bacon, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: chocolates, sugar, cereal bars, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: rice, pasta, pulses, etc. 
• Dairy: milk, cheese, yoghurts, etc. 
• Drinks: fizzy drinks, juices, energy drinks, etc.

• Personal care: soaps, lip balms, deodorants, etc. 
• Household: toilet papers, detergents, plastic bin bags, etc. 

Additionally, in order to cater for consumers with specific food needs, the retailer provides a range of vegan, bio, organic and dairy-free products. Brands such as Kurt’s Kitchen, Violife, Fauna, Aloedent, Faith in nature, etc, are provided by GreenBay. 

Furthermore, the company offers its own brand under the name “GreenBay” which includes a line of plant based meats such as braised sausages, quinoa & tofu sausages and salami style slices. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the enterprise partnered with DPD, an international parcel delivery service to conduct its deliveries. Moreover, the Royal Mail courier company works with GreenBay as well. 

Concerning sustainability, GreenBay is working towards reducing its carbon footprint by reusing boxes for deliveries wherever possible.
