De IJshoeve B.V. is a Dutch family-owned artisan ice cream producer with a real focus on producing (organic) premium ice cream concepts. The founders of our company were raised on an organic farm with a real passion for cows and dairy products. The rising desire to make our own home-made ice creams on professional scale resulted finally in the founding of De IJshoeve B.V. in 2012. Our company is located in Stellendam, on one of the Dutch beautiful Southern Islands. In 2013 de IJshoeve B.V. started with private-label production of different organic ice cream concepts. Our company is currently active in the organic retail and conventional retail channel in 7 European countries with our own brands and private label brands as well. 

As a business, our company is characterised as very flexible and innovative. Developing with our customers and make tailor-made ice cream concepts is our passion. Our company is IFS FOOD-higher level certified and our hole existing productrange is organic certified as well.

Brand: Happy mrs. Jersey - Organic Jersey Ice Cream

After the successful start our company grows hard and we developed our own ice cream brand called; Happy mrs. Jersey. This brand was launched in 2016. Happy mrs. Jersey is an organic farmers ice cream made of Jersey cow’s milk. This high quality raw milk is each day brought to our ice cream factory, straight from the different organic Jersey-farms. Within 12 hours this full-cream fresh milk is processed into Happy mrs. Jersey ice cream.

Our Jersey Cows graze on our island and beyond on more than 350 hectares of organic certified soils, on lovely places and in some beautiful Nature Reserves. Because we work with fresh milk directly from farm, this milk is only one time pasteurized by making ice cream. The special jerseymilk we use is very concentrated and contains more butterfat and more protein. This unique milk create a very creamy ice cream and more over a velvety, soft texture.
