Antica Erboristeria, founded in Rome in 1960, is a company specialized in ammonia-free hair colouring and gentle haircare products. Herbatint,  its leading brand, tested on sensitive skin is available in over 40 countries in the best Health Food Stores, Natural Shops, and Pharmacies.

First haircolouring company B Corp certified in 2016, it integrates social and environmental objectives in its goals. Antica believes in a sustainable driven development and its headquarters have recently been certified LEED, complying with the highest standards of energy efficiency.

Everything started from an intuition : giving every woman the chance to choose an effective permanent dye, ensuring healthy hair, as an alternative to the more aggressive and conventional colours.Its was 1970, when we first invented the ammonia-free formula , with the synergy of plant extracts, for an optimal and long-lasting result. 

Since then our challenge is to enhance women's natural beauty by taking care of the hair, offering each of them the opportunity to choose or create the colour that fits her personality.

Our journey as B Corp and by-law Benefit Corporation started in 2016. We started it to ensure even more decisive alignment of our business to our mission. We believe we are on the right path to create a prosperous future for us, for the community we operate in and for the world.
