Idilia Foods

Idilia Foods first began in 1945  in some small premises in Barcelona. This was the beginning of a success story, the place where ColaCao was first made to a secret recipe packed with magic and enthusiasm. 

This recipe is a closely guarded secret and is only shared by four people!

Over time, ColaCao became one of the country's favourite foods, to the point that, more than 50 cups of ColaCao drinking chocolate are consumed in Spain every second.

This same magic and enthusiasm that has soared as other brands have joined the company, such as Nocilla, a much-loved brand consumed by families across the country.

The Idilia Foods range is composed of ColaCao drinking chocolate with many different instant and/or soluble varieties, from 0% to extra intense, with added oats, pure cocoa, mocha, 0% with added fibre. A variety for everybody!

Our Nocilla chocolate flavoured spread is a firm family favourite and has a wide range of flavours including the regular variety, chocolate&milk, intense chocolate flavour, cookies&cream, milk&hazelnut , and also the 0% with no added sugar.

The company is focusing its RD efforts on studying the future of packaging; for example, promoting recycled materials or reducing the percentage of green plastic in packaging, among other initiatives. Idilia is committed to producing 100% reusable or recyclable packaging by 2025
