Il Ristorante

Il Ristorante is widely known as a French restaurant chain under the ownership of Agapes Restauration Group. The first restaurant was created in Dijon in 2006 as a subsidiary of Pizza Pai. But with its immediate success, the shareholders decided to dissociate both food services.

There are 22 Il Ristorante restaurants in different regions across France that offer fine Italian cuisine. 

All the restaurants have a shop section where customers can purchase wines, Italian cheeses, cold cuts and delicatessen items. 

Furthermore, Il Ristorante also provides catering services. 

Il Ristorante is known for providing meals out of fresh ingredients. The dough is kneaded at the restaurants, guaranteeing that they’re indeed fresh. Most of the Italian ingredients are imported from Italy. 

Il Ristorante also offers products in the following categories in its shop section:

• Savory Grocery: olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pasta, etc. 
• Dairy: various types of cheeses
• Chilled & Fresh Food: cold cuts, charcuterie, pates, etc.
• Drinks: red wines, white wines, rose wines, etc. 

Some of the brands available include Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti, Bardolino Chiaretto, etc. 

The firmdirectly imports products such as oil, pasta and wine from Italy to its logistics platform situated in the North of France which is further distributed to its restaurants.

Regarding packaging, the company uses eco-friendly cardboard boxes and reusable plastic packages.
