1. PRESENTATION

The 88 years of chocolate knowledge, express the solidity of Imperial, a company that is in permanent evolution while developing its ties to its community, the traditional thousand years old village of Vila do Conde, 30km north of Porto.

Producing 8 categories of chocolates in 3 factories, Imperial is certified with the most demanding Quality Certifications (IFS), exports to 50 markets in all the continents, with clients like Walmart, Auchan, Aldi, Carrefour, Lidl, among many others.

Three years ago we made an important investment in a state-of-the-art factory for dragees, that impelled our production in that segment to 3.000 tons/year. Regarding the tablets, the investment done a decade ago, that led to the current production capacity of 4.000 tons/year, was already overcome by our dynamism and a new production line will start operating coming September. Our story is also the story of each one of our partnerships. Working close with our partners led us to both develop the success of our Brands, the success of the Private Labels of our partners and the Contract Manufacturing solutions that we offer.

2. WOW FACTOR!

Our innovative R&D prepared us with unique selling propositions in the Healthy Confectionary area. Our Dragees, that can be No Added Sugar, Gluten Free, enriched with Protein, Low Calorie and Vegan. The same claims we offer on nuts with chocolate, snacks, tablets, cooking chocolate and hollow figures for all those who look for the experience of chocolate, dark or milk, but want the source of protein, no sugar or no gluten.

We offer a wide variety of chocolates, with a rich assortment and a large number of packaging possibilities. Imperial is well known by our developed  range of excellent dark chocolates.

The WOW we value is the one coming from the market, both from the final consumer and from our partners. And quite a loud WOW we can hear from our dark, healthy and nutritious chocolates. It basically results from the intersection of three successful factors:

• The great Dark Chocolate experience, gathered by our Jubileu brand development;
• The two decades plus of creating No Added Sugar chocolate, partnering with world leaders and exporting to all over the world;
• The absolute innovation of Protein enriched pure chocolate, that we master in the Sports Nutrition arena.

We apply these factors in 30g snacks, 100g tablets, 200g cooking chocolate, chocolate beans and other formats.
