Insula - Natural Body Care is a herbal cosmetics laboratory located in Urzulei, a small town in the hinterland of the wonderful Ogliastra region in Sardinia (Italy). 

We design and produce high-quality soaps, oils, scrubs, hair and facecare products with 100% natural ingredients and the greatest attention to environmental impact. At Insula, traditional herbal knowledge meets a brand identity based on truly shared values: the result is products people fall in love with.

All of our products are 100% biodegradable and completely traceable. The ingredients we use (lentisk, helichrysum, arbutus unedo, donkey and goat milk, mallow, prickly pear, for instance) derive from organic farming or from spontaneous flora collection.

At our laboratory in Urzulei, we produce most of the plant extracts, the macerated oils and almost all the products we stock. We are able to meet the needs of bio-lovers, vegans and DIY customers.

Our offer includes a line of bar soaps, a liquid skincare line and a line especially designed for outdoor sports and travel lovers: it features high-quality, multipurpose products in practical packages, 100% biodegradable for the needs of water and mountain sports lovers, as well as for backpackers.

Insula was born in 2016 as an idea by a group of herbalists and friends who wanted to create a new cosmetics brand with an international vocation taking the evocative atmosphere of Supramonte as inspiration, offering first-class products and careful attention to sustainability.

We use recycled materials for our packaging as much as it's possible. We reduce the volume and composition of the packaging and always use recyclable materials. Among the materials we use there is the Favini paper made from agriculture waste and a waterproof stone paper.
