Internacional Olivarera, S.A. (INTEROLIVA) is one of the biggest private olive companies in Sevilla, Andalusia (Spain), operating since 1898. Our first shipment to the USA market took place in early 1910’s, when olives placed in wooden barrels were loaded in Sevilla’s river port. With 95% international sales, we offer complete programs for retail, foodservice and food industry in different packaging.

     In 1972 the company developed the very first pimiento paste stuffing mechanical process in the world. Twenty years later, its R&D+I department developed the unique Ball Stuffing® technique, patented worldwide.

     Environmental management is both a responsibility and a vocation and INTEROLIVA is characterized by a long-term business approach which facilitates its commitment to sustainability. Major environmental milestones achieved in the last three years include a 11% reduction in water consumption, 14% reduction in CO2 emissions and 9% reduction in energy consumption per kilogram of olive packed.

     Our State-Of-The-Art olive orchard with intensive cultivation, integrated production certified by SHC and BOSCH intelligent irrigation, beside our BRC A+ plant (non-announced audits), set the standard for olives excellence, becoming internationally recognized for producing the finest Spanish olives and guaranteeing an extremely high quality, preserving the original flavor and texture of Sevillian olives and excluding any additive, except for those naturally produced in the olives preparation.

     It has been said for centuries that the very best olives in the world were those from the olive trees that could be seen from the top of The Giralda tower (minaret built by Arabs between year 1184 and 1197) in Seville, Spain; miles and miles of olive trees in all directions. Today INTEROLIVA remains in its original location since 1898, at sight from The Giralda, where the very best olives in the world are grown.
