Stafford Irish Spirits Co. is an Irish family business owned and managed by John Stafford. The Company was established in 2016 as a separate entity to the main business of Slaney Farms Produce Limited which has an established reputation as a supplier of high-quality potatoes and fresh fruit under the Slaney Farms brand. Stafford Spirits was set up to produce Jackford Irish Potato Gin which is a premium potato-based gin using the “ugly” potatoes from the farm which are not suitable for retail sale.

From the rich dark soil of Co Wexford, Ireland, Jackford Irish Potato Gin is a premium gin and is handcrafted to a unique and original recipe. The creamy smoothness and luscious mouthfeel of Jackford is complemented by the natural sweetness of the potato base and is balanced to perfection.

We at Stafford Irish Spirits are very proud of our potato based gin, having taken a considerable amount of time to conduct several tasting sessions to ensure the correct secret mix of botanicals with its potato base we feel we have created a unique and distinctive gin that both teases and satisfies. Well-made and carefully balanced, the earthy creaminess of our potatoes works in unison with fresh herbs and warming spices, delivering an old-style fusion with a few hidden twists!
