"If there's an enticing smell of fresh bread in the air, more people visit our stores", as Gottlieb Duttweiler once said. It was this that led to the establishment of JOWA as the bakery for MIGROS, back in 1931. Today, JOWA has eight regional bakeries in Switzerland, one pasta factory, one location for gluten-free products, one durum wheat mill, two bakeries outside Switzerland and a total of ninety in-house bakeries all over Switzerland.
