Kiilto, start-up spirit since 1919

Kiilto is a growing, family-owned company, with over a hundred-year history. We develop, produce and sell chemical industry solutions in four business areas: industrial adhesives and fireproofing, constuction, professional hygiene and consumer goods.

We employ around 1000 innovative professionals, Kiiltonians, in 11 countries. We take pride in our own research, development and innovation functions, which are the base for the agile and valuable cooperation with our customers.

Our story began in 1919, in a small factory producing hair tonic and shoe polish in the Pispala district of Tampere, Finland.

Reducing fossil-based raw materials in adhesives (hot melts, EVA-based). Reducing our carbon foot print from production, raw materials, and our own packaging materials. Kiilto's target is to be carbon neutral by 2028.
