KOL is an online store based in Paris, France. Founded in 2015 by Martin Gunther and Baptiste Guez, KOL began by providing drinks and some food items at supermarket prices.
Initially, 95% if KOL's portfolio consisted of drinks which it provides at tasting temperatures. However, in 2020, KOL made changes to its portfolio, offering around 400 food references to meet the requirements of customers.
KOL is reputed for delivering orders within 20 minutes, despatching from its 5 dark stores in Paris.
Coca Cola European Partners now own 25% of KOL.
With the aim to expand the business, KOL intends to launch in another city in France and provide 1500 references in the future.
To ensure prompt delivery, KOL works with 200 delivery persons who are employed on a freelance basis.
In 2020, KOL reached a turnover of € 1.7 million.

Regarding the sourcing, KOL works directly with manufacturers.
Pertaining to its logistics, KOL operates 5 dark stores in Paris which rely on a central warehouse of 600 m2.
