KOMETA 99 Zrt. is one of the largest and most efficient pork processors in Hungary and Central Europe.

Products made in our certified IFS, BRC and HACCP Kaposvár plant, where we employ more than 1050 people, can be found not only at Hungarian households, but in more than 40 countries around the world.

Our wide portfolio includes processed meat products and fresh meat, branded as private label, that we serve to top Food Retailers in Hungary, Italy, Germany and central/east Europe.

- Hungarian style products as Cold cuts, traditional Wintersalami, Hams, Hot dogs, etc.

- Premium Italian style products as Cooked hams, Oven roasted turkey breast and Oven roasted chicken breast

- Fresh pork meat in many formats include MAP self-service trays and convenience products as Burgers and Meat Balls, etc.

We are one of the few companies in Europe that have the entire production process - from farming, slaughtering, cutting, processing, maturing and slicing, under the same roof of our 30.000 sqm plant with blow yearly capacities/volumes for 2025:

- 620.000 slaughtered pigs/year

- Total volume 82.000tn, 235 mil € turnover

- MAP packaged fresh meat: 11.300tn, 18 million trays

- Processed products: 14.300tn

- 200 mil € expected investment in next five years

With this very sustainable and integrated process, using fresh meat from our slaughterhouse, we can deliver products with better taste, more freshness, guaranteed quality, and food safety.

Some of our portfolio has an excepcional clean label, as -30% salt, free of gluten, lactose, soy, carrageenin and without added phosphate, starch and glutamate.
