Kruidvat is a personal care retail chain which was established in the Netherlands in 1975 by the de Rijcke family. The company was owned and managed by Kruidvat Holding until 2002 when the group was acquired by AS Watson which is now owned by CK Hutchison Holdings.

Kruidvat operates about 970 stores in the Netherlands and an online shop. The firm operates subsidiaries in Belgium as well.

Kruidvat offers 12 500 references in the food and non-food categories.

Kruidvat launched the The Kruidvat Kinderdagverblijf Service (KKS) which supplies daycares with products from Kruidvat private labels.

Kruidvat was the second most popular online store in the Netherlands in 2018, resulting in a turnover of € 55 million.
