Incorporated in 1992 by Ivan Katavic, KTC is a diversified retailing business operating on the Croatian market. Its headquarters is based in Krizevci, Croatia. The company’s business activities include shops, agriculture, hospitality, petrol stations, tourism and KTC delivery.
Presently, the retail network consists of 28 supermarkets and several specialised stores in 26 cities across the country. In addition to the supermarkets, KTC has 22 pharmacies, 1 garden centre, 15 gas stations and a number of catering facilities, coffee shops and restaurants.
In the financial year 2021, KTC achieved a turnover of €225.4 million and currently employs more than 1,460 people.
Moreover, the business offers several types of products in different categories such as:
- Sweet grocery: chocolates, teas, biscuits, etc.
- Savoury grocery: oils, pastas, rice, etc.
- Chilled & fresh: meat, vegetables, delicatessens, etc.
- Dairy: milk, yoghurts, cheeses, etc.
- Frozen: meat, fries, desserts, etc.
- Drinks: energy drinks. Fizzy drinks, juices, etc.
- Wine & spirits: wines, champagnes, beers, etc.
- Personal care: toothpastes, shampoos, body lotions, etc.
- Household: detergents, toilet rolls, air fresheners, etc.
Brands such as Persil, Jar, Sensodyne, Palmolive, Doritos, Cosmopolitan, Lavazza, Twix, Mars, Radler and many others are endorsed by the firm.
Concerning logistics, KTC operates its warehouses and has a fleet of vehicles to ensure deliveries.
