Lambertz is one of the leading German manufacturers of gingerbread, biscuits, tartlets and other traditional confectionary products sold either all year round or in the run-up to Christmas and the festive season. The company was founded in 1688 in Aachen, a city in the west of Germany. Its brands, which include Lambertz, Kinkartz, Weiss and Haeberlein-Metzger, enjoy worldwide popularity. Owner Dr. Hermann Bühlbecker is the well-known face of the company and the Lambertz brand. He is a recipient of the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon awarded by the Federal Republic of Germany and is actively involved in many different charities. He also represents the company every year at the International Confectionary Fair in Cologne and hosts the legendary "Lambertz Monday Night" event with its spectacular chocolate fashion show.
