Founded in 1966 by Luigi Palmieri in San Marzano Sul Sarno, the foodstuff industry, La Palmierina , was one of the first factories to be established in AGRO NOCERINO SARNESE AREA and thanks to its high quality products immediately gained favour with the local market. In 1972 Giovanni Palmieri succeded his father Luigi as manager of the factory and in few years he led La Palmierina to a steady-state level of success , receiving awards and recognitions such as the international award” Ercole D'oro” (1985) and “ Italia prize" (1995) for the high quality and production standards. Co-managed today by Giovanni’s sons, Luigi Aracangelo and Salvatore who share the same passion and expertise , La Palmierina has become a professional international trading company, specialized in canned vegetables from Mexico , Turkey, argentina, Usa, and Alaska. It operates both in Italy and abroad, indeed its exports markets are Germany , Arabic area , Australia.
