Lema
Lema Srl has been founded in 1994 in Turin, the capital of Piedmont, the “cradle” of the original Italian breadsticks. In 1996, the new factory has been inaugurated, which is in compliance with the highest quality and hygienic standards, with a covered surface of 1500 square meters and an external warehouse of about 3000 square meters. The production is divided into different highly automated production lines with a potential production of about 2.900 Tons of finished packed product per year. Lema is constantly involved in “R&D” activities to offer the market innovation and a wide range of snacks, with a precise orientation to Healthy, Natural and Organic.
Originally, Lema has been created to produce the classical stretched Breadsticks “Torinesi style”. Successively, the range of products has been widened to bakery products like Flatbread Squares (fancy artisan-style crackers), ideal for “dipping” and “topping” for the Aperitif time and also to be tasted with salads, soups & typical Italian dishes; Mini Breadsticks & Micro Breadsticks, ideal snacks at any time, light and tasty alone or used for dipping and as bread substitutes; Breadsticks, Mini-Breadsticks, and Flatbread Squares are available also with organic certification.
Lema is strongly committed in “private label” productions, which represent 60% of the total production volume.
