Life Group

Life Group is an importer, wholesaler and distributor which was founded in 1994 in Sweden. The company offers a range of healthy food, drinks, household and personal care products. Life Group focuses on the distribution of organic and healthy products. The firm is a subsidiary of Fairford Group.

The group manages 310 stores in Sweden, Norway and Finland. 182 of them are fully owned by Life Group while the rest operate as franchises. Life Group also operates an online store.

Life Group’s subsidiaries are:

• Life Shop Sweden: is responsible for the smooth operation of all its shops in the country as well as the online store
• Life Shop Scandinavia: based in Norway since 1999, the company handles the stores in Norway
• Validus Engros AS: a wholesale company based in Norway. The company provides healthy food, drinks and home and personal care products. Furthermore, the company is also involved in providing tailor-made solutions for its clients
• Validus Butikkdrift AS: Since 1995, the company provides specialised foods and drinks 
• Life OY
• Life LE Logistics AB: Life Logistics handles products for the stores under Life Group but can also supply independent shops as well. The company manages its own warehouses and offices in Vallentuna.

Life Group’s clients consist of retailers such as specialised stores. In addition, the company is responsible to supply to  Lifekedjan stores.

Life Group offers a loyalty program called Life Club where customers can benefit from exclusive discount and offers. 

Life Group achieved a turnover of €170 million in 2019 and employed 381 people in total.

The business offers products in the different categories:

• Savory Grocery: pulses, snacks, cooking oils, butter
• Sweet Grocery: honey, cereals, cereal bars, chocolate
• Drinks: Juices, energy drinks
• Household: Scented Candles, Detergents
• Personal Care: Supplements, face care, skincare, hair care, oral care

The firm also offers products from other brands such as Nocco, Nobe, Better You, Sasco, Secuvie, Z skin and Veet. 

Life Group manages its private label, Life, which consists of a wide product range that includes beauty products, supplements, snacks, sports drinks, diffusers, scented candles, coconut oils. 

Life Group imports its products from Canada, USA, UK and many more.

Life Group ensures that all products abide by the appropriate guidelines, law and regulations. Furthermore, the company also follows the strict list of forbidden ingredients from WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency). 

Life Group is certified for organic production and holds certifications offered by the Medical Products Agency and HACCP.

Suppliers are expected to comply with the law and be able to prove that their products are free from chemicals and harmful substances. They must also be able to trace back the origins of any product. 

Life Group is also the major sponsor for the project Zimlat for life which involves sponsoring a school as well as a health clinic. A number of children have been able to have access to health care as well as educational services.

Life Group owns a modern warehouse in Vallentuna which is equipped with Pick by Voice, a  voice-based system that handles orders faster.
