In 2022, Louis Delhaize Group issued a statement about the renovation of all Match and Smatch banners in Belgium, scheduled to take place between 2022 and 2025, and to stop the use of the banners in favor of Louis Delhaize for Smatch and Louis Delhaize Open Market for Match.
Regarding logistics, in 2022, the firm has invested in a new distribution centre of 34,000 sqm in Nivelles, Belgium.
