Madama Oliva was established in 1988 from the merger of small Italian companies that had operated since 1921 on a regional level in the production of table olives. 

Madama Oliva is leader in the sector of processed and packaged olives thanks to its ability to combine specialized expertise, deriving from long standing tradition and experience, with a solid and state of the art organization.

Large refrigerators, which ensure the preservation of the freshness of the finished product, allow the company to purchase a large amount of raw material during the harvest period and guarantee the consistency of the availability of goods throughout the year.

A Research & Development Department is dedicated to the continuous improvement of production, the study of new recipes and new product lines.

All production processes are automated and optimized to reduce consumption. Separate collection allows to contain the waste produced and send them as much as possible for recycling or reuse. The company is continuously researching environmentally sustainable materials and packaging, marketing product lines with a lower environmental impact. We have partnered with Veolia (a French multinational specialising in water, waste and energy services) to design and build a new wastewater treatment plant to overhaul the industrial water cycle to reduce its consumption. We invest in our territory with donations to many research and health prevention associations and we are planning to implement a major corporate welfare project aimed at all our employees and their families.
