History of Shanghai Maling canned meat production has been started since 1930 and their products are one of the most popular within the South-east Asia market.Almost 50% of the products under Maling brand were exported to more than 80 countries worldwide including EU and North America countries where they become very popular. At the moment Maling brand portfolio includes more than 100 types of product in 10 series. Shanghai Maling company belongs to Bright Food Group Co. Ltd - state owned shareholding company which is associating 29 shareholding companies with wide range of activities from food industry and agriculture up to tourism in Shanghai region. Since autumn 2006 Shanghai Maling Aquarius Co., Ltd, which is part of the Bright Food Group Co., Ltd was building new production facility for canned meat in highly demanded EU region. As successfully finished and fully approved according to EU food production standards in 2008 this facility is able to produce more than 20.000 tons of final products a year. Between the main products of this new European facility are pork luncheon meat and ham which have the longest tradition in Shanghai Maling product range and also gained several awards on international as well as on Chinese food fairs. Only few percent of the total production capacity is placed on the local Czech market and rest of the production will be exported all over the world. Beside traditional Maling brand there are products presented under new brand name GUDING and production facility is also prepared to fulfill demands of production under private brands.
