Malongo

Nice, 1934. A small coffee roastery took form at the heart of the town. This site initially roasted 25 kg per day, later increasing to 100 kg. What was this roastery called? Malongo café. In 1992 was a decisive year. In Mexico, Jean-Pierre Blanc met Padre van der Hoff, the founder of fair trade. Malongo henceforth worked with small growers and launched long-term investment in this field. In 2006, Malongo acquired land in the nearby commune of La Gaude, constructed the future company site and created Coffee city, a unique site across the world.
