The Champignon-Hofmeister Group is one of the most important companies in its branch and holds first place among manufacturers of soft ripened cheeses. About 1,000 employees work at five sites over Bavaria and Saxony, while the headquarters are located in the Allgäu region.
The company combines 100 years in the art of cheese-making with innovation and successful brands. With exports accounting for about 40% of turnover, the consumer and industrial brands are sold in over 55 countries worldwide.

Our core competence is processing milk into products of top quality which mainly include soft cheeses, but also distinguished products.

Milk suppliers
Approximately 1,300 dairy farmers supply around 400 million kilograms of milk a year to our production sites. This milk comes exclusively from local farms.
