Marilou Bio was created in 2010. At that time Benjamin - the founder - kept hearing that the French would not consume organic products because perceived as too expensive. On this premise, he undertook to create a new brand of skincare: effective products, formulated with natural ingredients from organic farming, at an affordable price. Low budgets in marketing, simple packagings, large-scale production, and low margins have contributed to the success story of the brand. For the story, Marilou Bio is also a lovely nod to Benjamin’s wife name: Marilou.
