Mas Supermarkets
MAS Supermarkets is a Cypriot supermarket group founded in 1996 as the first shareholding association of supermarkets on the island, originally uniting seven independent, family-owned stores. Its central offices are located in the Dali Industrial Area of the Nicosia district, and the group operates across the whole of Cyprus.
Built as a cooperative that protects and develops small and medium-sized Cypriot supermarkets against large international retail chains, MAS has grown into the country's largest supermarket network by number of outlets, with around 54 member supermarkets. Its stores span every major district, including Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and the Famagusta region, combining the buying power of a national group with the local knowledge of independently run neighbourhood shops.
MAS supermarkets carry a full FMCG assortment across sweet and savoury grocery, fresh and chilled produce, meat, dairy, frozen foods, drinks, household products, personal care and wine and spirits, catering to everyday shopping needs island-wide.
The group offers one of the most complete private-label ranges available in Cyprus, with roughly 1,600 own-brand products spanning food and non-food categories, giving members a distinctive and competitively priced assortment alongside leading national and international brands.
Positioning itself as a "purebred Cypriot company," MAS reports a turnover of approximately €150 million (2024) and continues to invest in its member network and central services such as procurement, marketing and logistics. With the widest store footprint in the country and a strong private-label programme, MAS Supermarkets is an attractive partner for food, beverage and beauty manufacturers seeking broad distribution across Cyprus.
