McBride is a manufacturer and distributor of household and professional cleaning products which is based in the UK. The company started operating in 1927 and by 1973, was listed on the London Stock Exchange. 

McBride achieved a turnover of €851 million in 2018 and employed 4076 people. 

McBride offers products in the household category which includes laundry products, dishwashing products and household cleaners.

McBride helps businesses develop their private labels whether they are retail brands or discount brands. Furthermore, the company has developed its own brands.

McBride’s has separated its divisions under the following regions:

• Central and Eastern Europe

• Western Continental Europe

In 2017, the company took over Danlind, a Danish manufacturer of laundry powder and dishwashing products. During that year, McBride was managing operations in 10 countries.

The firm's purchasing team is responsible for sourcing materials mainly in the UK and in Belgium. Suppliers who work with McBride must conform to the Supplier Code of Conduct which clearly stipulates rules and regulations regarding ethical trading, human rights, labour laws, health and safety regulations as well as legal compliance. 

McBride works with around 200 scientists in research centres located in Europe and Asia in order to develop new products.
