Menz & Gasser Company was founded in Lana (BZ) in 1935 as a transforming fruit company and soon it specialises in high quality jam, preserves and fruit semi-finished production. In 1974 the production moved to Novaledo and in 2004, in order to face the ever increasing request of the market, it acquired a new production plant in Verona.
Thanks to the experience of a dynamic research & development team and thanks to the use of innovative technologies situated in the two production plants, the company can develop some products which are able to satisfy the request of the most demanding customers belonging to all sales channels: high organised distribution, catering, confectionery, ice cream production, industry, private label.
Novaledo is the production headquarter for packed products; this plant has been recently rebuilt and it is thought to allow the ideal flow of the materials for food safety, but also to host a complete automation system able to manage and control all production stages: from the raw materials to the end product. Moreover, the production process is certified according to the highest level of BRC and IFS standards. This is a warranty for the quality of process management and product safety. Also the plant in Verona is certified according to two specific standards, always with the best results: this plant produces semi-finished goods for industry customers: from a complete sweet and dairy products line to a range of salty and biological products. Also here the company uses a really advanced technology: worthy to be mentioned is the innovative radiofrequency pasteurization system useful to preserve the product specific features and nutritional qualities.
But the technology is not enough to ensure the success of a company and its products. Menz & Gasser introduces itself to its customers not only as an innovative company, but also as a company with a long experience in the fruit manufacture.
Professionalism and devotion for the quality standard maintenance have been rewarding this company which is certified ISO 9001:2008 too and which in the last years is knowing a constant increase as far as volumes but also turnover are concerned. Thanks to that now Menz & Gasser has become the European leader in the sector of hotels portion packs with an annual production of about 400 millions portions.
