Launched by Miguel McAlister in 2015, Merqueo is one of the country's first online supermarkets. Its headquarters is based in Bogota, Colombia. The company acts as a hybrid of Instacart and Amazon.
The business currently offers over 8,000 products and operates in 25 cities in Colombia, Mexico and Brazil. Its e-commerce platform has over 600,000 users.
Merqueo achieves an annual turnover of €258 million and employs 808 people.
