Brixen is a highly qualified mozzarella manufacturing company well established on the national and international market. In 1996, the introduction and application of ISO 9002 quality management system was another milestone in the history of BRIMI, the certificate being awarded to the company in October 1996 by the Austrian Certification and Evaluation Ltd Oqs. This system is being continuously checked and adapted if necessary. In November 2002 Brixen achieved the ISO 9001:2000 certificate and as the first and so far only dairy in South Tyrol it was awarded the Hygiene Certification as well.
