Modern Bakeries was established in 1997 with the ambitious vision to become the market leader in the Egyptian bakeries industry. The journey to the top didn’t take that long. Shortly after its establishment, the Company succeeded in becoming Egypt’s single largest full-fledged bakery products producer. Not only was Modern Bakeries the pioneer of retail packed bread market in Egypt, but also extended its portfolio organically and inorganically to include fresh pastries and cakes.
