Mondragon Cooperative is a cooperative group with around 100 cooperatives. Founded in Spain in 1956, the company is present through its various subsidiaries in 150 countries. Mondragon Corporation operates in 4 distinctive industries, namely : Finance, Industry, Retail and Knowledge.

Mondragon Corporation employs 81 837 people and achieves an annual turnover of over €12 billion. The company also operates 15 Research & Development centres. 

In the Distribution sector, Mondragon Corporation  operates the following companies:

• Eroski: Eroski is a chain of supermarkets and hypermarkets operating in Spain. The group manages 61 hypermarkets, 1279 supermarkets and an online store. Furthermore, Eroski also owns Caprabo, a chain of 320 supermarkets and Vegalsa Eroski which is involved in food distribution and operates 263 shops. Eroski also manages two travel agencies and a sports equipment chain of stores known as Forum. 

• Behi-Alde: Behi-Alde is a farm which produces over 5 million liters of milk each year

• Barrenetxe: This farmers cooperative is involved in the production of vegetables using traditional methods in the Basque Country.

• Ausolan: A firm offering catering, event organisation and cleaning services. 

• Unekel: Unekel specialises in Rabbit meat production.

• Abacus Iberia: the company is involved in the sale of leisure products.

In the industry sector, the company owns several subsidiaries which are involved in logistics and cargo handling, translation, juridical services, pharmaceutical equipments, commercial equipments and packaging. 

In the finance industry, the company operates life insurance companies, social protection for cooperatives, banking and investment funds management companies.

In the knowledge sector, Mondragon Corporation manages several institutions offering technical education, programmes in gastronomy, R&D centres and training centres.
