Founded in Italy by Gianluigi Aponte in 1988, MSC Cruises is a travel retail company which offers its customers a great choice of destinations. Its headquarters is based in Geneva, Switzerland. MSC Cruises is owned by the Mediterranean Shipping Company. 

MSC Cruises is recognised as one of the largest cruise companies in the world with a fleet of 21 cruise ships which have welcomed over 11 million travellers. Additionally, the business operates various offices in North America, Europe, Central and South America, Middle East & Africa, Asia and Australia. 

In the financial year 2020, the enterprise reported a revenue of € 705 million and employed over 30,000 people from around the world.
