Newcoffee Industria Torrefactora de Cafés S.A.

The NewCoffee Group Co. is one of the main players in the coffee market in Portugal. Specialized in the development and sales of high quality coffee blends, It happened through the initiative of the Inter-Risco, BPI’s Private Equity, which invited to this project Portugal Ventures and IBERPARTNERS as co-investors.

The NewCoffee Co. has consolidated its position through a strategy of acquiring small and medium enterprises: Sanzala in December 2007; Lavazza, Caffècel in June 2008 and November 2008 respectively, focusing on professional management and the creation of added value for the customer and to the final consumer.

The month of October 2009 marks an important step in the path of NewCoffee, with the entry of a new shareholder. Unicer enters in the capital of NewCoffee which in turn integrated two new brands: Bogani and A Caféeira.

The NewCoffee Company offers a wide range of brands and products, extending its activity to various segments of the market.
