NIGEL, FOUNDED IN 1958

We are localized near the first fishing port of Portugal where we produce a large range of fish and shellfish.

The company has a skilled and experienced team, from the selection of the raw material to the production and markets near 5 thousand tons / year . 

​It extended, refurbished and modernized the entire manufacturing plant in 2015, introduced new technologies in the manufacturing and packaging process, for a better result of productivity, quality and service.

We have several prodution lines, with machines and hand work, to process the fish acordly the specifications of each costumer and country. Our  localization near the first fishing port of Portugal helps to have people with skills in fish that allow us process what the machines doesn´t do.

The company has cold storage capacity of more than  18.500 m3; freezing capacity of 8 tonnes / hour and a packing capacity of 5 tonnes / hour .

Our guiding principles are respect for commitments, adaptability and dedication.

Since the 60's we have developed an export vocation, working now for more than 25 countries on 5 continents.

We are a company that uses its vast experience as a driving force for constant improvements to production of quality products that meet the needs of our customers.
