Novus Ukraine

Novus Ukraine is a prominent supermarket chain in Ukraine, operated by Limited Liability Company Novus Ukraine and developed by the Lithuanian investment firm BT Invest. Established in 2008, the chain has grown into one of the leading retailers in the country, focusing on quality fresh products, groceries, household items, and personal care essentials.

The network primarily operates supermarkets under the Novus brand, with additional formats including Mi Market neighborhood stores and Khapayka discount stores. As of late 2025, Novus Ukraine manages approximately 141 locations across key regions such as Kyiv, Ternopil, and Rivne, including over 80 Novus supermarkets.

Novus supermarkets emphasize a wide assortment exceeding 17,500 product items, with strong offerings in fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, dairy, bakery, ready-made culinary dishes, and own-brand products. Stores feature modern layouts, in-house production zones for pizza, hot dogs, coffee, grill menus, and confectionery, alongside household goods and children's categories. The chain prioritizes affordability, customer service, sustainability, and community engagement.

In 2024, the company reported revenue of UAH 29.015 billion (approximately €650 million), marking a 23% increase from the previous year, with a net profit of UAH 561 million.[3] This financial growth underscores Novus's resilience and expansion strategy, including multiple new store openings in 2025, such as a 2,843 sq m supermarket in Kyiv's BalticSky shopping center.

Headquartered in Kyiv at 12 Kiltseva Road, Novus Ukraine employs between 51 and 200 staff, positioning it as an attractive partner for suppliers in food, beverages, and beauty sectors. The chain sources a diverse range of products including baby food, confectionery, dairy, frozen foods, fruits and vegetables, juices, meat, and organic items, serving as an importer and online retailer.

Owned 100% by CJSC Consul Trade House (Vilnius, Lithuania) as of 2025, with ultimate beneficiaries Marina Poznyakova, Agne Ruzgiene, and Raimondas Tumenas, Novus continues to innovate and expand its footprint in Ukraine's competitive retail landscape.
