Nr1 Moldova

Nr1 is a retail chain located in Chisinau, capital of Moldova. 

It comprises 17 supermarkets and more than 1300 wholesale clients.

The company has at least 2,000 employees. 

It offers a variety of products under different categories: 

• Savory grocery: Bread, macaroni, rice, etc.
• Sweet grocery: Chocolate, candy, waffles, etc. 
• Fresh and chilled: Fruits, pasta, vegetables, etc.
• Frozen: Meat, vegetables, ready-made pizzas, etc.
• Dairy: Milk, butter, yogurt, etc.
• Drinks: Soft drinks, juice, water, etc.
• Household: Detergents, kitchen towels, toilet paper, etc.
• Personal care: Sanitary napkins, shampoo, face wash, etc.
• Wine and spirits: Vodka, Beer, Wine, etc.

It is the exclusive distributor of known brands, such as Parmalat (dairy products), Nordic Seafood (Frozen and ready meals), Barilla (Cereals & pasta), Zott (dairy products), Hahne (Cereals & pasta), etc and also imports 30 other brands.

The supermarket chain Nr1 is the only importer which is certified ‘organic’ by Moldovan control bodies.

The company launched its private label known as “NR 1” which includes products such as hand wipes, jams, cooking oils and many more.
