OCOCO is both organic & fair-trade certified. No child labor is being used in the production of our coconut water.

We try to deliver the product as close as possible to the original quality at harvest. So we only apply a very short UHT sterilisation to make it aseptic, and pack it straight into Tetrapak at the source. This saves a lot of energy vs. those that use concentrate, or retort sterilisation, and saves packaging materials vs. those that use drums to transport it to Europe before repacking in Tetrapak. Tetrapak is well known in Europe, and recycling is well established in most EU countries, with recycling rates growing year on year. The 500ml is also a very good compromise in terms of packing volume vs. package waste, covering both the single portion sports market as the multi portion home use market.
