Invatia Research is a technology-based company dedicated to researching, production, and selling of high quality extra virgin olive oil from Spanish’s northwest. Based in Ourense and Santiago de Compostela, our aim is to reintroduce the native variety which had disappeared from Galicia, optimising its environmental and bioclimatic adaptation.
Invatia is dedicated to the future of the native Galician olive and continues working on several different lines of research to better understand and develop the variety. These projects have made Invatia one of the leading private initiatives researching olive oil in Spain today.
The team is comprised of graduates from the fields of Agricultural Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Food Technology, and Chemical Engineering, who have gained extensive research experience in public research centres and in private companies.
