Oubu Coffee is a Danish trading company specializing in trade of the premium Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee exclusively.  Along with our sister company, Sherwood Forest Coffee Co, based in Jamaica we have full control of our supply chain from the lush cherries on the steep mountain sides in Jamaica, to processing of green beans, roasting and packing the coffee, to the consumer packaged and branded products ready to stand out on a shelf in Europe, the online world in Asia etc. 

Jamaica is one of the most attractive and exclusive coffee origins in the world, known for its superb quality and unique flavor profile. For over 8 years we have successfully traded green beans and via our own roastery in Jamaica  - and roasting partners in Europe - we can facilitate branded and private labelling of consumer packaged products in different categories - including the single-serve market.

We have different options to reach desired price points, but common for all products we supply, from green beans to roasted and packaged coffee, is our unique track and trace information and support. As we are a single origin estate with an advanced data collection system from harvest through to export, we support our partners and brand owners with the most extensive marketing and traceability data available from any producer in Jamaica, on each and every single batch of coffee. Blockchain verified for 100% authenticity. Information that is directly applicable in end-user marketing and information, and which supports the local communities in which our coffee is produced.Guaranteed Authenticity - Jamaican coffee export is fiercely governed by JACRA (Jamaica Agricultural Commodities Regulatory Authority). Only licensed players can use the ‘Jamaica Blue Mountain’ trademark which creates a significant positioning advantage over brands based of other origins. No other origin has a quality and export control system that matches that of Jamaica, and it guarantees, documents and verifies the players in the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee market. Licenses are valuable and sought-after. Oubu Coffee is fully licensed, both as an importer, exporter and trademark user license holder – and we can facilitate our partners brands under our license in a straightforward process.

Our sustainable profile does not just apply to packaging but to our entire agricultural process where we use shade grown methods, recycling of natural resources, processing, roasted and packing locally and on-site to reduce the need for transportation. Until finally packing in alu foil pouches with a cardboard outer - both what are recyclable materials.
