Paradiset
After identifying a need for natural products on the Swedish market, Johannes Cullberg founded the chain of retail stores, Paradiset in 2015 in Sweden. The idea being Paradiset is to provide clean and natural foods which are free from harmful substances.
Paradiset’s products range consists of 60% organic references. The company operates 2 stores and an online shop which was launched in 2018.
Paradiset reached a turnover of € 10.2 million in 2018.
The retail chain has won several awards in 2016 including the Fast Foods Awards, NCSC and Eco-store of the year.
Paradiset is looking for products in the following categories for its private labels:
- Savory Grocery: Herbs, Spices, Rice, Pasta, Ready meals, etc.
- Sweet Grocery: Sweet Canned Food, Biscuits, Breakfast, Hot drinks, etc.
- Drinks: Carbonated soft drinks, Ciders, Juices, etc.
- Frozen Food: Fruits, Vegetables, Ready-Meals, etc.
- Dairy: Yogurts & desserts
- Chilled and Fresh Food: Drinks, Ready Meals
- Household: Household cleaners, Cleaning supplies, Dishwash, Disposables, etc.
- Personal Care: Vitamins & complements, Health, etc.
Paradiset is also interested in meat-free alternatives.
The focus is on keto friendly, healthy, clean, paleo-friendly, organic and products which contain probiotics.
Concerning packaging needs, Paradiset is looking for reusable, recyclable, organic and sustainable packaging options. The firm also wishes to reduce packaging where possible.
Paradiset mainstains a close relationship with its suppliers. In 2019, it has partnered with Midsona, a Swedish producer and brand to launch its own label, Everyday by Paradiset. Paradiset is currently in discussion with several gym chains, pharmacies and grocery chains in order to distribute its brand.
Paradiset offers products which are free from artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and sweeteners. In some very specific cases, Paradiset can sell products which contain non-harmful additives for certain categories.
All products must have a certificate proving that they are safe.
