Founded in France in 1987, Passat is an online retailer and distributor that offers a range of non-food items that it develops under its own labels.
With around 150 references, Passat supplies retail chains and specialised stores such as Carrefour, Leclerc, Castorama, Bricomarche, etc.
In addition to this, Passat also operates its own online shop.
Passat’s activities are based mainly in France but the company has also entered other European markets in Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Spain.
Furthermore, the company is also present in the US. As a matter of fact, Passat has formed a joint venture with the US sports company Echelon, marking its entrance in sports activities. This new partnership, known as Echelon Fit, has boosted Passat’s shares.
Innovation is key to Passat, not only through its products but also in its marketing tactics.The business sets up displays in its clients’ stores. Moreover, by making its own videos, Passat is able to showcase its different products and brands.
While Passat is very active with a wide range of products in France and Europe, in the US, the brand developer opts to provide a limited number of high quality brands to a select clientele.
In 2020, Passat achieved a turnover of € 36.34 million and 74.4% of its turnover was made through its activities in France where it experienced a rise in its revenue.
