Pecsi Brewery

Pécsi Brewery is an independent brewery with a history of 170 years of uninterrupted operation. The factory meets the highest product quality and environmental standards (IFS, ISO 14001, EU-Bio, EU Gluten-free), uses its own water source, and has a stable access to regional supply of ingredients.

While our Pécsi and Szalon lagers are among Hungary’s most popular beers, the company has successfully started to market unfiltered top fermented beers such as Weissbier, Pale Ale and APA.

Our brewing follows the German Beer Purity Law. Commitment to environment, sustainability and the preservation of biodiversity motivated our team to launch our organic product series, including Hungary’s first organic gluten-free lager.

Ramping up organic craft beer production is our strategic goal. We source our organic pilsner malt from Hungarian suppliers while organic special malts are purchased from Germany. Conventional hops are coming from the USA and Germany.

We support a healthy lifestyle by our gluten-free products. Our brewery is certified to AOECS standards and each gluten-free batch is individually tested by an independent control body (SGS).

We produce Private Label for selected partners.
