Our story began in 1972 when Mr. Stanislav Pečjak (founder ofthe bakery Pekarna Pečjak) started a biscuit production plant.He continued with the production of pasta, bread, and thenfrozen products. On his entrepreneurial path he continuedto add production lines, so today the sales programme ofPekarna Pečjak includes frozen ready meals and side dishes,fresh and frozen pastries and dough, pasta, fresh bread andbakery products, fresh desserts, strudels and biscuits.Today, the family business is run by members of the secondgeneration of the Pečjak family, continuing Mr. Pečjak’sjourney. He paid the greatest attention to the quality of rawmaterials and products. He repeatedly stressed the point:„Our customers are also our families, our friends andneighbours. Offering anything but the best is simplyunthinkable.“Since 2005, the company has been run by his sonSilvester Pečjak.
